Can I Add eCards to My Raiser's Edge NXT Giving Process?
Yes! While Raiser's Edge doesn’t support embedded <script> tags directly in donation forms, there are multiple ways to offer donors a seamless eCard experience — either by linking from confirmation screens, emails, or embedding directly on your website with full payment integration.
Steps to Add eCardWidget to Raiser's Edge NXT
Option 1: Add eCard Link to the Confirmation Page
In eCardWidget, go to the Widget Editor, open the Share tab, and copy the Public Link. It will look something like this:

Add a message like this:
“Want to send a thank-you or tribute eCard to someone special? Click here to send a card”Save your changes and do a test donation to confirm the link appears and functions correctly.
Option 2: Add the eCard Link to the Confirmation Email
In Raiser's Edge NXT, open the editor for your donation confirmation email.
Add a sentence like this to the email body:
“Celebrate your gift with a personalized eCard: Send a card”Save your changes and test the email.
Option 3: Embed the eCard Form + Donation Checkout on Your Website
For the most seamless and branded experience, you can create a dedicated eCard donation landing page on your own website and embed your eCardWidget directly using the HTML embed code.
This version includes our integrated donation form, powered by Stripe.
Donors can choose from multiple preset donation amounts or enter a custom value.
After donating, they can immediately personalize and send an eCard.
The system automatically sends email receipts, tracks eCard engagement, and supports CRM integrations for syncing donor data.
To do this:
Create a page on your website (e.g.

Paste it into your webpage where you'd like the eCard form + donation form to appear
Connect your Stripe account in the eCardWidget dashboard if you haven't already
